I hope i don't offend too many people in saying this...but I feel that Rap is a severe abomination to music, let alone is poisoning our society.

i totally disagree with you, i think rap is like a piece of art. i also think of it like a poem which is said with a rhythm and a beat. it also helps people get out there anger in workd rather than violence. you say it's poisoning our society, it wouldn't be in our society and popular in our society if people didn't like it. irespect your view though. What does everyone else think?

Thanks for taking the time to respond and open my mind.
I'm glad that people are expressing themselves in ways that are non-violent, although rap sometimes glorifys it...I'll just try to remember that it is music and therefore is art.
