Good/bad of this setup
Whats really cool is that while using this method of blocking ads, you get your own web server. If you register with someone like ddns.org who assigns hostnames to dialup machines you can easily share information with friends, family or colleagues simply by putting html files in your web directory. It's a great way to get info out.
The only problem is that your ISP may whine about you running a server. As you probably realize by now, ISPs just love to complain about any little thing they can. My ISP prohibits the running of Web/FTP servers, but since I'm not a squeeky wheel they don't care. The moral of the story is don't run a gigantic website on your ISP's dialup account without ok'ing it with them :)
