#beginquote# Talking about sightreading, that was difficult at first. I had been in band for two years, and I didn't know how to read the music. My flute tutor didn't even know, so I had to tell her. She didn't believe me at first, but I reminded her that every time before we played something, she would play it for me, and I just memorized it. After she learned that I was just playing by ear, we worked extremely hard, and after two more years, I became number 7 in my state in sightreading. The real lesson is that sightreading does take loads of time, but it pays off big time in the end.:D Good luck on learning!:) I am only a speck upon another speck floating in a pool of galaxy #endquote#
