The first player to rush for 2,000 yards in only season was Buffalo Bills legend O.J. Simpson, who listed 2,003 yards and 12 touchdowns during the 1973 campaign. The last player to join the record had been Adrian Peterson, who rushed for 2,097 yards and 12 touchdowns with the Minnesota Vikings in 2012. The Titans are the only franchise to have 2 players accomplish this feat.

Henry came into Week 17 needing 223 rushing yards to reach 2,000 on the year. While that single-game aim might have sounded unlikely for most running backs, Henry is not the same creature. Does he average a whopping 118.5 yards per game, but he has rushed for over 200 yards in a single game four distinct times in his career in the regular season -- such as earlier this season when the Titans hosted the Texans at Nashville. Back in October, Henry rushed for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns from the 42-36 victory over Houston.

Henry, who had been drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Alabama, has become the face of the franchise, and has carried this business to new heights. Only last year at the playoffs, he rushed for 182 yards against the New England Patriots after which 195 yards against the Baltimore Ravens to take the Titans into the AFC Championship game. It was enough for Henry to secure a new extension this offseason, and he rewarded the Titans by placing up career-high numbers.

With the conclusion of the NFL season upon us, that means the league's yearly coaching purge is about to kick into high gear. After the year kicked off in September, there were 32 head coaches roaming the sidelines around the NFL, but maybe not every one of these guys will be arriving in 2021. As a matter of fact, we already know three coaches who definitely won't be returning and that's Bill O'Brien, Dan Quinn and Matt Patricia, who got axed throughout this season. Three in-season firings was the maximum amount the NFL has seen as 2010 when four trainers got let go.

Heading to the 2021 offseason, there might be as many as six teams looking for a new trainer and that number could jump even higher if people view any surprise moves. We are going to be tracking all the latest news as teams begin their hunt for the right coach. To keep you up to date on the newest firings, rumors and hirings, be sure that you keep tabs on the coaching tracker below.
