I've actually been trying to Osrs gold have it listed on the website for awhile, mainly because of the number of problems we have with individuals phishing RuneLite consumers, however Jagex doesn't wish to do it. I wish it would happen.
Just the most recent blog post, where they list all the contributors at the bottom. I'm not gonna get in the theory of open source , but it is crucial for sustaining complicated projects from the long-term.
The cheat runelite forks have to rewrite a great deal of heart runelite to enable plugins such as tob to even work. If it were not open source that wouldn't be possible.
How would people develop and test their own plugins, unless they're allowed to load unofficial plugins, then can only be used by botters as well and now there we go.
Jagex would need to employ a dev to go through the forks and test them. Or slow down development on present jobs.
I downloaded a 3pc decades back so that I could see names over things on the floor, now look at the shit we could do.
The open source status of runelite caused bots to Buy Rs gold explode in evasion victory and reduced the barrier to entry for bot developers to basically nothing.If they had a hard stance where APIs they permit access to they could simply install an automated system to ban anybody it detects in which their customer has altered anything else.
