Yeah all great points etc. blah. I was a smoker for 15 years and recently found it easy to give up once you realise the physical withdrawal is hardly noticeable( a bit like a case of the butterflies) and you are mentally prepared i.e. you accept there is nothing good about smoking, its simple.
It really does taste shite you know

that was an interesting post but has nothing to do with music at all, don't make comments like that on a music site please.

To the last poster who said that smoking does not have anything to do with music, I think it would affect those who play trombone, flute, oboe etc. - and anyone who sings - breath control is an important part of playing these various instruments and for singers.

I don't know how anyone can smoke in this day and age with all the information "out there" - enough said.
