Here's a trivia question - my nephew has asked me to help him find information on a singing teacher by the name of Olga Eisner.

I did a Google search and found out that she taught Mimi Benzell at the Mannes College of Music - and the Library came up with an article written around 1942, and the trail ends there.

Anyone know anything about her or ideas on where to look.

Thanks and Happy Easter

I met Olga (who, incidentally, was married to the eminent concert pianist, Bruno Eisner) through Mimi Benzell, and soon became accompanist in her studio. The Eisners virtually adopted me and I possess a photo of the two of them from a vacation spot adressed to "Meine Goldene Junge."

Since all of this stems from some 60 odd years ago, it is difficult for me to be of help other than to state the obvious: in my youthful estimation I found her to be a rewarding and loving teacher.
