You may have heard about shoulder massage but you may not know how to relax your shoulders. Using your own body weight, you can learn to massage your shoulders to relieve tension and pain. Self-massage is an excellent way to relieve tension and stress, and can also increase relaxation. To begin, lower your shoulders away from your ears and straighten your spine. Place your fingers at the base of your skull and massage them in circular motions, taking deep breaths as you work.
