Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has any historical info on the first ever recorded song, or first commercial studio?

thomas edison invented the phonograph, the first recording machine. the first recording was edison singing Mary Had a Little Lamb. i believe the first recorded real song was something by the dixieland jazz band... im not sure but they were the first something...
