Hello,
let me just start off and say i know nothing about music....
And i want to learn music in general and to be able to play the guitar (Chicago blues or rock blues style) and be able to write songs...
where do i start?
i know that is a silly question but the vast amount of information on the internet actually make it harder not easier, at least for me because it confuses me
i don't even know what C major is or any major for that matter.. what a 12 bar is, what is a note,...etc i know nothing
so what i am looking for is a resource that FOLLOWS AN EDUCATION FROM SCRATCH TILL CREATING BLUES ROCK SONGS ON A GUITAR....
what should i do in 123 steps..
and i would like to do this at my own pace and using the internet.
so is there a series of educational videos that are structured that way..
on last question, which i know, again, is a silly and repeated one; if i give one hour of my time every day to learn how to do this, how long will it take me to call myself a blues rock songwriter, an okay one at least... i know this varies considerably and depends on a million factors....but just an average estimation would do..

Hi...I found agood good teacher byway of (YouTube)He gives free lessons and has some really useful blues guitar lessons, just go to Justinguitar.com and you wont be disappointed...barnjammer
My guitar and some time alone is time well spent.
