I'm just learning how to read music but ive been playing the guitar for 3 years.... my question is how do you recongnize music intervals?

you need to train your ears to hear them. You can go to an on-line site like this to do that. Also a good way to start recognizing intervals is to think of a song that starts with that pitch. For example...for a perfect fourth, it's the first two notes of "here comes the bride" or a perfect fifth is "twinkle, twinkle little star." Things like that can help your ears at first, but soon, you'll start to get it!
