I think I got 4/4 time, But when it comes to 6/8 or 3/4 and others I'm having a hard time understanding them. In 4/4 time there are 4 beats per measure but in 3/4 there are 3 beats per measure? does the measure change at all? Whats the differance please help me.

The top number tells you how many beats are in each measure. The bottom number tells you what kind of note gets a beat.

It sounds like you understand. When the bottom number is not 4, the quarter note no longer gets a beat. For Example in 3/8, there are 3 beats in the measure and the eighth note gets the beat.

GOOOOOOROOOOOO
