I have a scout merit badge asking me to name the five general groups of instruments. I have strings, brass, woodwind
and percussion. Can anyone tell me the fifth one?

Thanks.

Connor I found a great site for you. The San Francisco Symphony has a special site called San Francisco Symphony Kids - www.sfskids.org.

Just click the skip button and on the next page go to the top left hand corner and you will see Instruments of the orchestra click it on and it will more than answer your questions plus there are lots of activities.

Hope this helps. Keep in touch, let us know.

Connor,
Being and Eagle Scout myself, I can tell you that the exact answers they are looking for to fulfill the requirement can be found in the merit badge book. You should get your hands on a copy and do some reading. Good luck!
