Is the treble C note the middle c on the piano and the bass c note the c note one octive lower?

Since there are many "c"s on the piano let me clarify for you.

The "C" one ledger line below Treble clef is middle "C". The one ledger line above the Bass clef is also middle "C".

The C on the third space on the Treble staff is one octave higher than middle C. The C on the second space of the Bass staff is one octave lower than middle C.
