Anonymous Anonymous Poster From Internet Network: 131.210.16.x posted: 4/25/2007 at 11:55:44 AM ET in my opinion understanding music can oly be taught by another person. reading can be done with any good series of beginner books. it really depends on age. if you are an adult i would have to say alfred. get yourself a set of music note flashcards(bastiens music flashcards). also once you start reading music, invest in lots of music cause that is the only way to get better.
