A natural is a note on the staff: A B C D E F G In between these notes are 1/2 steps sharps or flats example A# Bb, A sharp B flat. The A sharp is one half step above A natural the B flat is one half step below B natural. If you are not already confused, the A sharp and B flat occupy the same space between the two naturals.

A natural is a note without a sharp or a flat. It is played as is.

A natural is a note that is not a sharp or a flat. A natural sign usually used to cancel a sharp or a flat.
