I've been teaching for almost 30 years. Any flute in todays market that only sells for $69.95 new (got this info from eBay)is, frankly a piece of junk. People call instruments like this a "I.S.O.". Instrument Shaped Object. Shop around and look for a good used instrument before you invest in this. Artley, Armstrong, Geimeinhardt, Yamaha, Bundy all are good flutes.

Go to www.wwbw.com or www.giardinelli.com and check their prices. Or go to a music store and look into leasing one. Go to an instrument repair shop and get your Geimeinhardt repaired. It's probably the best anyway.
