I must direct music for an upcoming elem program. I know how to read music, but not direct. What are the basic hand signals for directing and how do I teach them to 7 year olds?

Found this. It's really for marching band, but it looks effective and is easy to read.
Some conducting manuals teach/show the beats as being at the extreme of the motion. in reality you bounce to the extreme. The "beat" is really always in front of you.
