what is the difference between, the trumpet, horns and bugles? anyone to help out on this would be greatly appreciated.

Bugle has no valves so it can only play fundamental pitches. It cannot play melodies (unless you can play really, really high).
The trumpet has piston valves that allow it to play all notes.

The Horn (I assume you mean French Horn) has rotary valves and is shaped MUCH differently than a trumpet or bugle.
