Hi Manitube, you seem to really know music, well you should after 40 years in the business anyway! LOL! I'm trying to learn how to read music, although I play just fine by ear, I want to have a better understanding of it all by being able to read it as well. Do you know a good web site that teaches how to read music? I have found a few but they just don't have what it takes to get it through to me, I don't mind paying for an on-line course just so long as I'm able to learn from it. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate hearing them. Thanx for your time!
Peace

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Marble/9607/0001.htm has 28 lessons, turtldove. It is directed toward Piano, but applies well to any instrument.
It's the best I have found anywhere.
