I have the finger charts and everything and can get up to the "F sharp" that's right below it. What do i need to do to reach "G"? Does it have to do with breathing? The mouth? Please help! Thanks.
Oboes Rule! (but flute is ok too)

It takes a very strong embouchure and the correct fingering. I think it is a misprint. What has happen is that someone wrote it one key and transposed it to another key and when they do this you must check to make sure the parts all go the correct ranges. Tenor playing G above the staff is the same as trombones playing A above the bass clef. It is almost unheard of. Especially in marching band
