I may pick up an instrument (any one of them) and demonstrate, but not while directing. I'm a percussion major, and a piano, trombone, flute, clarinet, and horn minor, and had classes in Woodwinds, Brass, Strings ,and Percussion.

Well for an elementary school band we don't sound to bad at concerts. Some of us are really good at playing our instruments becuz we practice a lot. OUr school band is really small too.In our sr. band we have 8 flutes,7 clarinets,1 bass clarinet, 4 alto saxophones, 1 trumpet, 1 cornet, 2 trombones,7 drummers. In our jr. band we have 2 flutes, 1 clarinet, 1 alto saxophone, 4 trumpets(who don't know anything unless i tell them how),3 drummers. The sr. band helps out a lot durring the spring concerts. we have 1 flute, 1 clarinet, 1 alto saxophone, 1 baritone, and 1 tenor saxophone(me) that helps out our jr. band.Even though we are a really small band we still produce a loud sound(especially the drummers).
