i dont understand why some music notes are below the staff lines can someone explain this to me.

Notes are placed below the staff because that's where they belong. A middle C must be on the first ledger line below the treble clef because if it were anywhere else, it would not be a middle C.

Don't really know how else to explain it.... the lower the note, the lower it must appear on a staff, even if that means that it appears below the staff.
