An eighth note has one flag. A sixteenth note has two flags.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with the "_+_=3/4" equation......

An eighth note is played a little slower than the sixteenth note but is faster than the quarter note.

Hi,

Along with all this good information, it might be easier to see what everyone is wrting about, and if you click on Music Education@Data Dragon.com in the upper left hand box and than click on "learn to read music" it will be a good start.

Are you by any chance taking music lessons?
Just curious. Good luck. Hope this helps.
