I have a lot of sites to look at now. I have a 'Play Klezmer' book
for the sax but I'm waiting for a clarinet book to come in.
I went to the library yesterday, they didn't have any Klezmer but I have been directed to the Portsmouth library who have a few items. I managed to get a few cd's from the library on other stuff and 3 books. Also had a look at their notice board with some local music events...so I had a good time browsing in there.
I bought 'Fiddler on the Roof' to get me in the mood.
I discovered that Portsmouth have a synogogue. I phoned them and they have taken my tel no. to give to some clarinet players who travel from out of the area occasionally.
All in all...I am a bit inundated with stuff at the moment. I have bought books, got books from the library....bought 4 c.d.'s.....and got 3 from the library. Had a few e-mails on the subject and have so many sites on favourites now...well I did ask!!!! lol.........thankyou Suzy...and everyone else. Margaret.
