i have a Selmer, but i may get a new headjoint or just a new flute i would like to get an open hole flute. but yeah thats what i play

i didn't really get to choose what flute i got. my aunt bought it for me at a flee market and it is really old. i like it though. it is an artist. but it is mine not the school's which is even kewler.

The Pearl flutes have a great tone and the keys have good action.The Yamaha flutes provide same qualities of the Pearl.Which have a variety of flute styles available.The only drawback is that they are more costly than pear1

I would definitely go with a Powell, they have some very good, affordable flutes that are amazing. Yamaha is decent, but you have to start spending quite a bit to get good quality, their 600 series is nice, but it also runs $6000. It also depends on what level you are at.
