when i joined band i tryed out to be a trombone player. But since I was only 3ft tall and the trombone was way bigger then me when it was extened i was not able to handal it. So at tryouts my band director asked me if i still wanted to be a brass player. he had asked me if i wanted to play the trumpet. So now i am a trumpet player in the band. I have been playing for 5 yrs already and now i am 5ft 4 (taller then my band teacher who teaches all the instruments including the tromebone)Now i am going to start the saxophone. Well thats the storey of why I am a trumpet player. Its kinda funny.

Good story. I bet there are quite a few people out there who have a similar story since a trombone requires a certain amount of physical ability (i.e. long enough arms) to play it. Now that you're old enough (tall enough), be sure to try out that trombone again.... you may end up liking it the best of all!

Great story of u and your trumpet. Just because u didnt hav a chance to play the trombone then doesnt mean u cant play now.
Try the trombone and sax and see which is better.

well now im kinda stuck with the trumpet because my school band has a senoir band and a junior band. the junior band is for the students who are learning how to play their new instrument. After one year in junior band you get promoted to senior band. I am in my last year of senoir band and my band teacher kinda needs a lot of trumpets so i am really kind of stuck with it. Probly later in my lifetime i will go and study the trombone but fo r now i'll stick with my trumpet.
