I recently picked up playing the Tin Whistle (or the Irish Whistle). I am having trouble performing embellishing or accentuating notes on this intrument. As I am in the Navy and out to sea, I cannot try to find anyone to teach me in person and so far have found no literature on this problem. Could anyone help annotate any solutions, hints, or tips for my dillenma?

Thanks for your service - we appreciate what you and your fellow shipmates are doing.
From the pictures I've seen, those ships are floating cities (I would guess) have you tried to find someone who is Irish and may be able to help you learn to play a jig or two - wish I could help - I'm sure there will be one of the regulars who will pitch in. Take Care
