what exactly is a Bar of music? Is it the same as a measure or is it the whole line of lyrics and music that goes from the left margin to the right? If you could explain, that would be great!

A bar in musical notation. A bar or measure is a segment of time defined as a given number of beats of a given duration. As defined on a google site uder the search catagory: bar of music. This search took less time to find than to type. Ah, the wonder of the internet.
