Maybe someone here can help out. Right underneath the Trebel Clef symbol, there is a small 8. There is nothing underneath the Bass Clef symbol. Does anyone know what that little 8 means? It's under every Trebel Clef symbol on the entire piece. Thanks for your help if anyone does know.

I've seen that notation a bunch in choral music written for SATB choirs. Each part will be written on its own staff. Soprano and Alto witten on separate treble clefs; Tenor written on a treble clef with the little 8 under it; and Bass on the bass clef. I thinks it's used just to simplify reading the notes - rather than using so many ledger lines above the bass clef, and rather than making people figure out the tenor clef, they just created a notation to lower the treble by one octave.
