The answer to this question will have to come from someone with a lot more musical experience than I have, but I would think all notes are important.

There are only 12 notes.

C,
C#/Db
D
D#/Eb
E
F
F#/Gb
G
G#/Ab
A
A#/Bb
B

These notes just keep repeating on and on. The notes like A3/Bb are called ENHARMONICS. That means that they have different names but are played that same way on the piano keyboard or on an instrument, therefor have the same sound. It has to do wiht keys and stuff. There are no notes in music "more important" than any others. There are just all.......there. Kinda like air.
