i'm really ignorant when it comes to notes and signs in music. What does this (//) mean in music?

That sign is known as a cesura. A cesura basically means a pause in the music. Some musicians call this "railroad tracks" for slang. A cesura can be a pause of about 2 or 3 seconds or can it can simply mean a small break or lift in the music,

god!! does no one on this site state therir questions carefully and write what they mean rather than just gobble de gook. Almost every message has typos becasue you guys can't be bothered to like type properly. You won't get replies if you don't state your questions better.

I read the question and answer and both were gramatically correct. You, however, like, using the ,like, word like a lot. This is, like, hardly proper, like, English. Like, know what I mean?
