I so happy to meet a fellow lefthander. I'm an adult who has been taking piano lessons for almost 4 yrs. and haven't really had any real problems.

Sometimes I reverse a note or two, but all I can say is practice, practice and you know the drill.

Playing the violin, I really don't have the answer to that one, may a violinist will offer suggesions. I would like to know how to hold the violin and the use of the bow, and if it even matters.

Interesting. Keep at it, don't give up, you'll get there, that's the pep talk I give myself. Let me know how it goes. It's nice to meet another lefty.

Like suzy I also am lefthanded. I do most athletic things with my right, (throw, bat, golf, kick) but I write and use table utensile with my left, and am VERY left eye dominate.
As suzy said, keep practicing and working.
