Anyone have any tips on learning to read sheet music? I usually play by ear, but i just enrolled in a music education degree, so i should probably learn to read music.

I've been giving it my best for a couple of years, and my teacher said the only way to learn to read music is to play (practice) everyday. I hope that the music course that you are taking sightreading will be a big part of it. It ain't easy, but well worth the effort. Good luck - stillat it
