I’ve never seen anything like this before and couldn’t find anything on the internet.

I have a friend (not a trumpet player) who has a 1943 DuoTone Trumpet?

It looks like more of a cornet but has one horizontal valve on the upper left hand side towards the bell and one rotary valve back by where the 1st valve slide normally is.

Does anybody know about this or where we could find info?

Thanks for you help.

Jerry Horne knows about all those wierd instruments. Go down to contact us and you'll get his phone number, email and so forth. I think he may have a Duotone in his Museum.
