Hey, I am in my school's Jazz Band and I am practicing a Pink Panther piece. What I want to know how to do is a Short Fall from A to F. I've been trying various ways, but don't really know how... Anyone know a way to do it? Thanks.

Hold the A till the last second before the F then then play G to F quickly(slur). The only way I can think of. That's a really short fall.
