Ah, ok - that makes a little more sense! Congrats, by the way, on your long tenure of being able to put up with beginning band students for so long - I fear you are a dying breed!
And I completely agree with you - if you're Internet savvy enough to be able to find this website, then you should be able to know how to work a search engine! I hate to think that people are so lazy nowadays that they can't even spend a couple of minutes to try to find answers for themselves. It's not like they have to truck all the way across town to get to the library - it's right in front of them in their own house (my apologies to those of you out there that can only get online in the library...... of course, if you managed to make it to the library, then it stands to reason that you should use the library for what it's meant for).

I came to this site by chance and an happy I did. It's good to be able to "talk" to others who share the ups and downs of learning to play an instrument as an adult.
I apprectiate all the replies I have gotten, and could not have gotten by "looking it up" only by sharing. If you do not want to reply than you always have the option of opting out and going on to those you think you can help.
