4/4 time means there are four beats to a measure and a quarter note recieves 1 beat.
3/4 time means there are 3 beats to a measure and a qaurter note gets 1 beat.
2/4 time means there are 2 beats to a measure and a qaurter note gets 1 beat.
2/2 time, or half time, means there are 2 beats to a measure and a half note gets one beat. good luck!!!

music is the poetry of the heart!
