I have searched everywhere and have had no luck on figuring this out, hopefully someone here will know. I got a new music book with some scottish songs in it, well in it are some notes that I do not know how to play on the fiddle. It has been nicknamed the scots snap and it looks like a halved note connected to a dotted note. The problem is that I do not know how to play that note. Any help will be appreciated.
