Need to stay up to date in your studies. Too many terms to learn in a week. Sorry , no sympathy

Don't let anyone tell u that cramming isn't worthwhile alice! I sat my Grade 5 Theory approximately 9 years ago - I dreaded it, but passed first time! Much of my last minute learning was very useful, so don't despair - my tip is just cram, cram, cram!

You had your exam today? I hope it went well. By italian words do you mean these musical terms on expressing the speed or the mood of the composing like "adagio" or "sostenuto"? I have learned them one at the time. Each time I hear an unfamiliar word I find out what it means. The hardest ones must be those includings like "con molto" and so on. I agree with "glitterbec". Do not give up on learning. I am sure you tried to learn them in a first place but music theory is hard. On the other hand that is a result of a versatile music.

you guys are both wrong to tell her to cram. cramming rarely ever leads to sustained learning or retention. i didn't tell not to stop learning, i told her she should have kept up in class. there are too many terms that are too similar to keep straight in your head. con means with. con moto means with motion. con brio means with fire

Theory is not easy. You still have time before your exam, study. Ask your teacher for help, ask your teacher if you can meet after class.

Hope this helps. Good Luck
