| posted: 2/15/2004 at 11:49:14 PM ET How can one look at a sheet of music and tell if it is in G Major, F Minor, C Major, and so on? And also, if anyone is familiar with the album "Tommy" by the Who, can anybody tell me what scale the song "Underture" is in. Thank you

Registered: 2/20/2004 | posted: 2/20/2004 at 8:33:35 PM ET You can tell by the key signature (which notes to play flat or sharp) depending on your instrument. For example: On an Eb alto sax, an F sharp in the key signature means that it is in G Major
