How can one look at a sheet of music and tell if it is in G Major, F Minor, C Major, and so on? And also, if anyone is familiar with the album "Tommy" by the Who, can anybody tell me what scale the song "Underture" is in. Thank you

You can tell by the key signature (which notes to play flat or sharp) depending on your instrument. For example: On an Eb alto sax, an F sharp in the key signature means that it is in G Major
