i understand the types of notes there are within sheet music, but as to applying them is a little hazy. i know a whole note = 4 quarter notes when in standard, but i don't know how to time it exactly when applying it to music...if i'm being to vague, i'll try to rephrase this hehe. Thanks in advance!

a whole note also equals two half notes. A sixteenth note is counted as 1 e and a.
