Do is the tonic (the first note in the scale, or first scale degree) Re is the second scale degree, Mi is the third, and etc. If you need to know for a specific key, the tonic is going to be the note the key is named after. For instance, F major. Do would be F, Re would be G, Mi would be A, Fa would be Bb, So would be C, and so on. I hope I answered your question.
