I learned how to drum roll when I was nine. Not being rude or anything because it is hard. You have to bounce the sticks slow at first then pick up the speed. It gets easier the more you practice. Hey I'm not even a drummer and I know how to do a drum roll.

ok i had like the same problem u did 4 a while just kinda loosen ur grip on the sticks a little and move them up and down

Hmmm...sounds difficult.

I'd assume that doing a drum roll would be the same as "tremolo" on the piano....again, very difficult while playing a melody in the opposite hand! :eek:

wen i try to stroke the stick it does more than two bounces it does about three...does this mean im doing it wrong? also plz specify a little bit more on how i should hold the sticks.

Theres nothing wrong with ur dticks bouncing about 3 times. And if thers words on ur sticks put ur thumbs on the words if the words are near the bottom. hope this helped

I have my days where I amaze myself.

But days where I make myself look like a total sucker.

But still its so freaking hard.

Personally, i would put some music on my headphones, see what drum roles occur in the music, And take what you can from it...or even jam with it!
